Elder Lea Manor Care Home

Elder Lea Manor is a private nursing home situated in the beautiful area of Broughty Ferry.

The home has stunning views of the River Tay and vast garden ground. We have 28 bedrooms in the home and fully trained staff on shift at all times. We are a small, friendly and caring care home and go above and beyond for our residents. We have 2 excellent Chefs who cook fresh, wholesome food and do home baking daily. We have 2 snack stations which are available 24 hours a day. We have completed major refurbishment and are proud of our 2 Lounges, Dining room and Conservatory. Bedrooms have been upgraded with new flooring and furniture. We boast a sensory corridor on ground level also.

Our visiting professionals are as follows: Hairdresser, podiatrist, beauticians, G.P’s, nurses.

We have a full diary of events regularly including:- Therapy ponies, Museum bus visits, Entertainers, Zoolab, and Eden Animals.

We have a minibus available to take residents out on trips such as Arbroath, Coffee in the Ferry, Musicals and Cinema, shopping trips etc.

We have an activities co-ordinator who runs activity events daily in the home including, home baking, film clubs, gardening clubs, flower arranging and plenty of game events.

We are lucky to be in an area full of local interest including the new V & A Museum which has just opened. We also have Broughty Ferry Beach on our doorstep, rock gardens, castle green, local theatres and a transport museum to name but a few.
