The Firs Residential Care Home

The Firs care home is a 23 bedded residential care facility, able to take referrals from the following client groups

Adults over the age of 65 years / frail elderly adults
Residents with varying degrees of dementia / dementia-related illnesses
Residents with physical disabilities

The home is conveniently located in close proximity of Glasgow city centre and enjoys easy access to the M8 and M77 motorway’s along with Glasgow airport. There are a number of local amenities just a short drive away from the home, including Silverburn shopping centre and the beautiful Glennifer Braes country park

All of the bedrooms have bright and spacious single bed accommodation with a number offering en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience. We can accommodate one double room that can be occupied by either a couple or individuals with a close family connection. We have a bright lounge and conservatory area, along with comfortable dining facilities for residents to enjoy home-cooked meals, whilst also providing a relaxed environment for socialising with family and friends.

The home has a dedicated activities co-ordinator who delivers a varied and ever-changing forecast of events and activities, in addition to this, we have our own minibus, which is frequently used for visits, excursions and trips to local places of interest.

An enjoyable, secure, and easily accessible garden area has been specially designed to accommodate many outdoor events, including summer BBQ’s and fetes. It’s a fabulous place to be and when the sun is out, it’s even better!
